ID Photo Maker

Privacy policy

This policy explains what happens when you visit ID Photo Maker, use the photo tool, or see advertising on this website.

Last updated: October 9, 2026

Photos are processed locally

When you select an image, your browser opens it locally for cropping, adjustment and sheet preview. The photo is not uploaded to our application server, and the tool does not save it to an account or database. The browser holds a temporary working copy while you use the editor. Starting over or closing the page releases that working copy.

You remain responsible for the image on your device and any file you choose to download. Website requests, including requests needed to display this page, are separate from the photo selected in the tool.

Website and hosting information

Like most websites, our hosting provider may process basic technical request information to deliver and protect the service. This can include an IP address, browser and device details, requested page, and request time in server logs. We do not use this information to access your local photo. Contact us if you have a question about a particular data request.

Cookies, consent choices and Google AdSense

The cookie banner lets you accept all optional technologies, reject them, or choose Analytics and Advertising separately. Your choice is stored in local browser storage under cookie-consent; the necessary preference is always on so the site can remember your decision. You can reopen the controls from the Cookie Settings link in the footer.

Google AdSense is loaded only when advertising is enabled for the website and you have allowed Advertising. If loaded, Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, browser storage or similar technologies to deliver, measure and limit advertising. Depending on your location, settings and consent choices, advertising may be personalised or non-personalised. These third-party vendors operate under their own privacy policies. No analytics provider is currently configured; the Analytics choice records your preference if an analytics service is added in the future.

You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. Google provides information about advertising technologies and controls for personalising Google ads. Restricting advertising cookies does not prevent you from using the photo editor.

Third-party services and links

If advertising is enabled, third-party vendors such as Google may receive information through their ad scripts and cookies. Their handling of that information is governed by their own policies. This website may also link to other sites; we do not control the content or privacy practices of external services.

Your choices and children's privacy

Use browser controls to block or clear cookies, and use the consent choices shown to you where applicable. This website is a general utility and is not designed to collect information from children. The photo tool itself has no account or photo-upload feature.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy when the site or its services change. The latest version will always be available on this page. If you have a privacy question, please use our contact page.
