Not an official government service

ID Photo Maker is an independent photo-layout tool. It is not a government website, passport office, Aadhaar service, PAN service, visa authority or driving-licence agency, and it is not endorsed by any of them.

Confirm the current photo requirements

Photo dimensions and rules for background, lighting, expression, head size, clothing, image quality and print or digital submission differ between applications and may change. The sizes on this site are common examples, not authoritative instructions. Check the latest official requirements before you submit a photo.

Creating a sheet at a particular dimension does not mean that the image meets every other requirement or will be accepted. The organisation processing your application makes that decision.

Print and download quality

The physical result depends on your browser, printer, paper, printer-driver settings and any later editing by a print shop. Use actual-size or 100% scaling when suitable, avoid automatic page fitting, and measure a test print before making multiple copies. Review each downloaded file before sharing or printing it.

Use at your own discretion

The service is provided as a convenient general utility and without a promise that it is suitable for a particular official application. For details about how the tool works, see About and the Terms of use.
